An insight into the working of the McLean Museum was the topic delivered by Curator Val Boa.

Val explained the history of Greenock’s Museum covering artefacts and different time periods throughout history.

She brought some comic relief with her descriptions of the many stuffed animals that once adorned the walls and which were now thankfully many of the items are hidden away in storage.

The museum is going through a refurbishment and will be open to the public again in possibly eighteen months.
