It was an exciting evening at Greenock Writers’ tonight.  Our guest speaker, best selling author Shari Low and what a fun night she gave us. She gave us an insight into her life as a writer. She gave us a fascinating information about the changing world of traditional publishers and what we could do as amateur writers using the many self publishing tools available to us.

“Shari has been writing since 2000, penning 18 books under various pseudonyms.

Her latest rom-com releases are The Moment of Truth and The Other Wives Club, funny relationship dramas, about love, friends and infidelity.

She also writes raunchy bonkbusters under the moniker RONNI COOPER (Rock Chicks and Manhattan are out now)

And she is one half of the writing duo SHARI KING, with her friend of many years, Good Morning Britain’s entertainment correspondent Ross King.

Their first novel Taking Hollywood is a dark, scandalous thriller set in 80s Glasgow and present day LA.

The sequel, Breaking HollywoodShari Low, launched in August 2015, also lives in the shadows underneath the bright lights of Tinsel Town.

Shari writes a weekly opinion column for the Daily Record, and a Book Club page for the newspaper’s Saturday magazine.”
